At Chalford Timber we have been supplying firewood to the local community for as long as we have been harvesting timber.

Kiln Dried Firewood

The fire logs we supply are all cut from hard timber such as ash, English oak and larch, which have all been naturally seasoned for a minimum of 12 months. Our firewood is accredited with the Ready to Burn mark, which helps consumers to easily identify solid fuels that are legal to burn at home in compliance with the new Air Quality Regulations. The moisture content of the logs is below 20%, giving a long, clean burn. Our kiln dried logs are perfect for winter nights by the fire!

Our standard log size is 8-10 inches.

Domestic Firewood

Delivery is included for up to a 10 mile radius of the yard. Delivery is normally carried out on Thursdays and Fridays, but other times can be arranged.
Commercial Firewood

We can supply lorry loads of firewood for business/trade use as well. Prices arranged on enquiry.
Ready to Burn Accredited

The Ready to Burn mark helps consumers to easily identify solid fuels that are legal to burn at home in compliance with the new Air Quality Regulations. The scheme makes it easy for people to find the cleanest fuels for burning at home. Using fuels that are approved and labelled as Ready to Burn also means it’s easy to comply with Air Quality (Domestic Solid Fuels Standards) (England) Regulations 2020 that outlaw the sale of wet wood and house coal, which are the most polluting fuels.
