At Chalford Timber, we produce and supply premium kiln-dried firewood from sustainably managed British hardwoods — including ash, English oak, and larch.Each log is naturally seasoned for a minimum of 12 months, then kiln-dried to achieve a moisture content below 20%, ensuring a long, clean, and efficient burn every time. All our firewood carries the Woodsure “Ready to Burn” mark, helping customers easily identify fuels that comply with the latest UK Air Quality Regulations for domestic burning.

Our firewood is cut, dried, and prepared at our Herefordshire site using timber sourced from FSC® and PEFC® certified woodlands.We focus on quality and consistency, giving you a fuel that burns hotter, lasts longer, and supports responsible woodland management across the region.

    Ideal for home stoves, open fires, and wood burners, our kiln-dried firewood is designed for convenience and performance.

    We provide free delivery within 10 miles of our yard (Thursday–Friday), with alternative delivery times available by arrangement.
